The young golfer can count on plenty of well-known supporters as she begins her LPGA debut later this week.

This teenage golfer, who is connected to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, operates multiple courses worldwide and often matches against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play some close matches," she stated.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically told me to play and relax," she continued.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains the 461st position in AJGA standings.

However she's able to seek guidance from golf legend, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"And he's an even better human being. He suggested me to play, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."

Kai will face some of top competitors in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Officials commented that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts millions of followers and recently launched a personal fashion and living company.
